A SPECIAL CALLING.....................      St. Rose is in need of a chairperson for our Homebound Ministry and volunteer ministers to bring the Eucharist to homebound parishioners.       As Catholics we are told that the Eucharist is the "source and summit of Christian life", and many books have been written about the miracles of the Eucharist.       Has God given you the gifts of caring for the sick, consoling the lonely and anxious, and being a good listener to our brothers and sisters?       To become a Homebound Minister you will need to attend a short instruction that will allow you to be commissioned by the Bishop to administer the Eucharist.       This is a very special calling and we ask that in your prayers you ask God if you are to be a special minister the represents Christ and manifests faith and charity on behalf of the whole parish community.       Please contact Kathy at the Parish Office --851-1874-- if you are interested in joining this wonderful ministry.

 

Gary Williams, scheduler for the Proclaimers and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, would like to retire.  If you are interested in assisting in the Liturgy scheduling,  please contact Bud or Mary Lou Flocchini, Chairs of the Liturgy Committee at 851-1874.  Gary will be more than happy to help in the transition.
