Bulletins and Website

Bulletin Inserts

Cutoff:  All articles for the bulletin must be submitted no later than 2:00 PM on the Friday prior to the following weekend's date (8 days prior). You may submit your article earlier so it may run in the bulletin for a few weeks. For your event to be promoted successfully, it is suggested that the insert should be into the office 3 weeks prior to the date.

If emailing, please use Times New Roman font size 10 and please keep the format "Normal".  If you have Windows Vista operating system and you are forwarding your announcement in Word, please save it in Word 2003.

Flyer and Brochure Inserts:  Please submit your request in writing and a couple of dates (optional dates needed) you want your information to be inserted into the bulletin.  Requests need to be submitted at least 2-3 weeks prior to the date requested.   Cheryl will reply as soon as possible and the Thursday prior to the weekend requested, Dan or Kathy will call you when the bulletins arrive.  During good weather, the bulletins arrive between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Thursday.  During the winter, sometimes the bulletins don't arrive until Saturday morning.

We currently receive 500 bulletins.

Please note that it is your responsibility to organize people to print, insert, distribute your information as the church staff will not be able to assist. 


Website Notices

If you have an upcoming event, let us advertise it on the website!  When you submit your information for the bulletin, please let Cheryl know you would also like it on the website and on the website's calendar!  The earlier to her, the better and longer your event to be advertised!  Upcoming events will be uploaded on the link, "What's Happening".  It's suggested that you give her the information as soon as you know about it so she can upload it onto the church's website.

Posters may also be submitted.  Pre-existing posters from outside sources must be in .pdf format.  Posters/flyers received in Word 2003 format can be converted into .pdf by us. 

Pictures can also be uploaded onto the website!  Just make sure they're in .jpg or .gif format and up to 400 X 600 pixels.  Any larger pixels and/or other picture formats cannot be used. 
***Warning:  You cannot use apostrophies, ampersands, or spaces in file name!***

Music is another feature we can upload.  The file must be in mp3 format.  Unfortunately we cannot have it run in the background when viewing your information, but we can ask viewers to "Click Here" to listen to your sounds!

Posters and pictures must be emailed.  Your music can be copied off a disc if you prefer not to email.
