Extraordinary Ministers to Healthcare Centers

Extraordinary Ministers to Healthcare Centers distribute the Eucharist to the sick or elderly in nursing homes and hospitals, who are not able to attend Mass. EMs also provide a liasion between the sick and the parish, communicating their spiritual needs to the priest and other needs to the appropriate ministry.

EMs have an initial training session of two hours, scheduled as needed to prepare new volunteers.

The EM to Healthcare Centers requires one to two hours directly after Mass on Saturday or Sunday.
