Women of St. Rose support the parish and each other through ministries of fundraising, welcoming, bereavement, social justice, special events, and faith and sharing. Members can be as active as they wish.
The Women of St. Rose organization meets every third Monday of the month. 6:30pm is General Meeting and 7:00 PM is the Program Meeting-Both are held in Caramella Hall and all women of St. Rose are welcome to come!

Community Outreach
Collects items (purchased or donated) for charity as directed by the organization memership. Facilitates other charitable activities as requested.

Provides events that produces profit for the organization's use.
Funeral
Provides assistance to the Bereavement Ministry of St. Rose of Lima Parish on the day before and the day of the funeral.

Membership
Promotes membership in the organization. Responsibilities include:
1. Provide a fact sheet on the organization.
2. Provides name badges to be worn at the meetings.
3. Welcomes new members and guests at the door at all monthly meetings and introduces them to other members.
4. Prepares the organization's directory for distribution.
5. Represents the organization at the Ministry Weekend.

Scrip
Coordinates the volunteers, both parish and Women of St. Rose, who will sell scrip at all the Masses.

The Catherine LaPlante Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Women of St.Rose have started a scholarship fund for Bishop Manogue High School. The "Catherine LaPlante Memorial Scholarship Fund" w ill be available at the beginning of the 2009/2010 school year. The purpose of Catherine's Scholarship is to help those students who find themselves struggling to pay tuition because of unforeseen financial hardships and family emergencies.
